Mladinska Knjiga Založba is a company with a long tradition. In 1945, when it was established, Mladinska Knjiga published its first six books. Up to the present day, when around 500 titles are published each year, Mladinska knjiga has developed into a general publisher with a rich and extensive range of titles for all generations.
The Mladinska Knjiga list of titles covers original Slovenian literature, translations of world best-selling literature, handbooks and textbooks for primary and secondary schools. Mladinska Knjiga also publishes numerous magazines for children and adults. The largest Slovenian club functions within the framework of Mladinska Knjiga.
