MK Logistika uses support from the BaSi IT system. This is adapted to the specific requirements of the logistics centre, which controls a mass of logistics processes for a large number of clients with different wishes and needs.
The BaSi IT system is open to various types of RIP communications with various information systems (such as Sap and Kompas). In the BaSi system a demand can be fulfilled practically the moment it arises. The BaSi system supports the use of RF technology by means of a bar code to EAN.UCC standards. This technology enables MK Logistika to operate paper-free, quickly and accurately.
BaSi distributes goods optimally around the warehouse to appropriate locations, and in this way optimises the cost of storage, while at the same time this optimises handling provided by the logistical system and thereby reduces the cost of storage and handling for the client.
BaSi fully supports the tracking of goods within the MK Logistika system. The BaSi IT system provides integrated support for various types of additional handling operations (labelling, foil wrapping, making up sets and so forth), so MK Logistika is not just a logistics but also a production centre.
BaSi enables us to perform type A customs warehouse operations and to carry out the tasks of an authorised inward and outward goods handler.
