Galerija Ars
Galerija Ars is one of the oldest art galleries in Slovenia. Here you can explore exhibitions and purchase artworks, antiques, Slovenian-designed products, folk art and crafts, and art supplies.
The gallery dates back to 1973, when a sales room was opened on the first floor of the MK Trgovina Stationery Shop at Miklošičeva 40, in Ljubljana. At that time this was the only outlet in Slovenia that offered imported art supplies and literature on art.
With its sales of artworks and antiques, it was among the first galleries to establish the now-thriving Slovenian art market.
It is an invaluable part of the old nucleus of the city, an important facet of the high-quality and select range of stores and landmarks in Old Ljubljana.
